Mercy Auxiliary
The mission of the Mercy Auxiliary is to support hospital needs and enhance the patient experience at Mercy Medical Center through volunteering and fundraising.
The Auxiliary raises thousands of dollars each year to help fund special hospital projects, equipment and other patient care needs. Since its inception in 1923, the Auxiliary has contributed more than $6 million to Mercy Medical Center.

The Auxiliary depends on the support of more than 300 members to carry out its mission. These men and women faithfully donate their time, talents and resources. As an auxiliary member, you can choose to get involved and serve in several ways:
Uncommon Grounds Coffee Corner: Serve coffee and other drinks to Mercy employees, patients and guests.
Mercy Flowers & Gifts: Provide retail support, including assisting customers, ringing up sales and helping with merchandising and floral needs.
Spring Bazaar & Mistletoe Market: Help organize and execute annual seasonal vendor fairs featuring merchandise and handmade goods from local businesses and artisans.
Art Sale Exhibits: Coordinate the display and sale of artwork at Mercy created by area artists.
Student Art Exhibits: Bring color and cheer to Mercy’s walls by connecting with local schools to display student artwork.
Membership: Help grow the Auxiliary, welcome new members, and connect members with ways to serve and stay engaged, including social opportunities.
Sleep Sacks: The Auxiliary funds the purchase of sleep sacks for all babies born at Mercy. Sleep sacks offer a safer alternative to blankets for infants.
Monetary Support: Sponsor a specific Auxiliary event or activity or give an unrestricted gift to assist with Auxiliary operations and other hospital needs.
