Can providers write prescriptions through a video visit?

Can I schedule a video visit for my child?
Parent can schedule video visits for their children once they have requested proxy access for each child whose record they wish to access. When the application has been processed, you will see a new tab for the family member in your MyChart account. Parents would then need to select their child’s MyChart account to schedule the Urgent Care video visit for them.
How will I be billed for my visit?
Urgent care video visits are covered by most insurance carriers. The patient will receive a bill for their copay after the visit.
Self-pay at the office visit rate is also an option. The patient will also be billed after the visit.
What if the provider decides I need to be seen in person?
If the provider determines that your reason for visit is not appropriate for a video visit, they can end the visit and you will not be charged.
