Admissions for Substance Use Treatment
Admissions for detoxification are accepted at any time: 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Detox services take place at the hospital, not at Sedlacek Treatment Center. If you are seeking to detox, please go directly to the hospital. Pre-admission approval may be necessary.
Individuals may be referred to enter our outpatient treatment program from sources such as a family member, school counselor or physician, etc. Individuals can also refer themselves to Sedlacek Treatment Center for care.
Application for admission to our outpatient programs may be made by calling or visiting Sedlacek Treatment Center Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to schedule an appointment. Prior to admission to our treatment program, we require an in-house assessment. (Please note: if you have had an assessment elsewhere, we still require an assessment done in our facility.) Results of the assessment help our staff to determine the appropriate level of care.
Please feel free to call us for more information about our programs or to schedule an appointment at (319) 398-6226.
Please note that an assessment is valid for 60 days from the date of the completed appointment. If an individual chooses to seek treatment based on the recommendation provided, an admission appointment must be completed and the treatment program started prior to the end of the 60 days. Once the 60-day time frame has expired, a new assessment or evaluation will be required should treatment be desired.
Sedlacek accepts most major insurances as well as Medicare and Medicaid (Title 19). Private pay options and payment plans are also available. While we make every possible effort to work with individual insurance company plans to obtain the highest possible level of coverage, it is the responsibility of the client to understand the specific benefits of his or her individual insurance plan.
