Laboratory
Mercy Medical Center Laboratory is a full-service, state-of-the-art laboratory serving the hospital and MercyCare clinics. The Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. As a College of American Pathologists Accredited site, Mercy has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to its laboratory management by improving patient care, strengthening the deployment of quality standards and reducing errors and risk control costs.
Testing is performed by certified medical laboratory scientists, medical laboratory technicians and histologists. Approximately 1 million tests are performed annually in clinical chemistry, toxicology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, immunology, microbiology, mycology, molecular diagnostics, transfusion services, anatomic pathology and cytology.
Pathology services are provided by Weland Clinical Laboratories P.C. Blood products are provided by ImpactLife.
Locations
Mercy Medical Center's Laboratory locations offer a convenient location for outpatient blood draws. Walk-ins are welcome; no appointments are necessary.
