Steroid Injections

Steroid injections are primarily used for treatment of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSNHL). They may also be considered for those with a history of acoustic neuroma. Steroid injections may be administered orally or by local injection through the eardrum to reduce inflammation and restore hearing sensitivity for some individuals.
