Spacious Birth Suites
Spacious labor/recovery birth suites, as well as NICU suites, offer:
- private bathrooms with whirlpool tubs
- plenty of room for both mom and dad to sleep
- space to host visits from family and friends
As always, if your baby needs extra care after you're discharged, there is no cost for you to stay with your baby.
24-Hour Room Service
Babies come at all hours of the day and night. Especially if you have a long or tiring labor, you're going to be hungry after you deliver your new baby. And, you should be able to eat what you want when you want it!
Birthplace patients love our 24-hour room service and are pleasantly surprised that it's not your typical "hospital food":

Mercy's Baggot Street Bistro offers a wide variety of menu items that are made from scratch and incorporate fresh ingredients from local farmers.

Safety & Security
A state-of-the-art Hugs® Infant Protection System keeps your baby safe while you're at the Birthplace and NICU, which is also a locked unit. All visitors must check in individually with Birthplace staff prior to entry through two sets of locked doors.
