Mercy Medical Center uses Epic for its electronic medical record. Providers may access Epic in several different ways, such as via iPhone, android, iPad, laptop, etc. Click on "Epic for Mobile Devices" below to find instructions on how to install Epic on your various devices.
Dragon is Mercy Medical Center’s speech recognition software for chart documentation. It is a wonderful alternative to hand-typing or outsourcing transcription. With Dragon, your mobile phone can become your microphone so that you may efficiently document the patient story anytime, from anywhere. Try it today! Epic also has a web-based portal that offers providers and practice staff view-only access to patients’ visit summaries, results and progress notes. This is a great way to share information among offices that have an established clinical relationship with our patients. How to Install and Configure Epic on Your Mobile Device
You can connect to Mercy Epic Hyperspace from anywhere and while on the go! The Epic app is available on most mobile devices including iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android. Directions on how to upload are listed below.
For the FULL VERSION of Mercy Epic Hyperspace, you'll need to download the appropriate Citrix receiver on your device. From there you can visit apps.mercycare.org to log in remotely. Contact the Mercy Help Desk for technical assistance at (319) 861-7777.

Community Office Staff/EpicCare Link
What is EpicCare Link?
EpicCare Link is a Web-based portal that provides community practice staff and various other users view-only access to the charts of patients with whom they have an established clinical relationship.
What exactly will I be able to view?
EpiCare Link provides clinical view-only access to patients’ visit summaries, results, and progress notes. Secure messaging, appointment scheduling, referral ordering, and order entry for lab and radiology studies can be configured.

All physicians and APPs without hospital privileges at Mercy Medical Center must send all Access Request Forms for Mercy Epic Access to this email address. communityitaccess@mercycare.org
