Mercy introduces online food ordering & delivery service to surgery waiting room
Mercy Medical Center is pleased to announce a new convenience for its guests: The Baggot St. Bistro now offers online food ordering and delivery directly to Mercy’s Surgery waiting room, located on the hospital’s second floor.
This new service is available from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on weekdays, making it easy for guests to order food without leaving the Surgery waiting room. Guests can place orders through a convenient kiosk situated just inside the waiting room. Once an order is placed, food items will be delivered promptly to the same area.
This innovative service is designed to provide comfort and ease for guests while their loved ones are in surgery. By using the online ordering system, guests can:
- Stay in the Surgery waiting room, close to their loved ones.
- Be readily available when surgeons or hospital staff provide updates on their loved one’s procedure.
- Avoid the need to navigate to the cafeteria, allowing them to remain focused on their loved ones.
“At Mercy, the comfort and convenience of our guests are top priorities,” said Sara Eichenberger, director, Food & Nutrition Services. “We understand that waiting for a loved one in surgery can be a stressful experience. By offering food delivery directly to the Surgery waiting room, we hope to make this time as comfortable as possible for our guests.”
