Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary offers first spring bazaar
The Mercy Auxiliary is pleased to offer its inaugural Spring Bazaar from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at Mercy Medical Center, 701 10th St. SE. The event is free and open to the public.
Welcome the arrival of spring by attending this seasonal fundraising event. Local vendors will have their unique, handcrafted merchandise on display and available for purchase in Mercy’s 10th Street lobby and the Hallagan Education Center. Guests will find florals, bedding plants, seasonal home décor, garden art and many other distinctive, one-of-a-kind items.
Homemade cookies, pastries and other treats will be decoratively displayed and available for purchase at the $1 bake sale outside the gift shop in the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center. Guests will also enjoy a display of handcrafted eggs by Czech folk artists Marj Nejdl at that location from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Additionally, raffle tickets will be sold for items and gift certificates from local merchants.
Proceeds go to the Mercy Auxiliary in support of special projects at the Mercy’s Birthplace, cardiovascular program, and operating room, as well as the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center and other needs throughout the hospital.
