Proceeds support projects at Mercy Medical Center and Hospice House of Mercy
Make your way to Mercy Medical Center, 701 10th St. SE, on Thurs., Nov. 14 for the Mercy Auxiliary’s seventh annual Mistletoe Market. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Get your holiday shopping done early at this festive Auxiliary fundraiser. More than 40 local vendors will have their unique, handcrafted merchandise on display and available for purchase in Mercy’s 10th Street lobby and the Hallagan Education Center. Guests will find home and holiday décor, soaps, aprons, children’s gifts, doll clothes, jewelry, wood and metal works and many other distinctive, one-of-a-kind items.
Just outside the gift shop in the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, local Czech folk artist Marj Nejdl will display and sell beautiful, Czech-inspired, hand-crafted eggs.
Guests are also invited to relax with a bottomless cup of coffee and a sweet treat in Mercy’s Watts Library. Homemade cakes, cookies, pastries and other treats will be decoratively displayed and available for purchase at the bake sale.
Additionally, raffle tickets will be sold for items and gift certificates from local merchants. Holiday merchandise will also be offered at Mercy’s two gift shops.
All proceeds go to the Mercy Auxiliary in support of special projects at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Mercy Birthplace, Mercy Cardiothoracic and Vascular Clinic, and other needs throughout the hospital.
