Hospice of Mercy hosts Fallen Comrade Ceremony
U.S. Senator Joni Ernst to participate in pinning ceremony
Hospice of Mercy, in partnership with Murdoch Funeral Homes, is hosting a special ceremony on Friday, Nov. 10 to recognize veterans, first responders and family members who routinely care for traumatized or dying people. The event is free and open to the community.
The Fallen Comrade Ceremony is part of a national program designed to honor those who survive and carry the burden of their fallen comrades’ memory. The observance will include a pinning ceremony for veterans. U.S. Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa will participate in the pinning.
