Mercy Medical Center Announces Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic
Mercy Medical Center announces the addition of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeons Shane Gailushas, MD, and Aaron Benson, MD, as part of Mercy’s new Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic. Both physicians are board-certified and fellowship-trained ENT specialists. The clinic is located on Mercy’s campus at 901 Eighth Avenue SE, across the street from Mercy Medical Center, and began seeing patients in mid-July.
The new ENT clinic provides a full range of medical and surgical services for both pediatric and adult patients, including allergy testing and treatment, as well as audiology services.
Dr. Shane Gailushas graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, completed his residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, and obtained a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery from Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Aaron Benson graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, completed his residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago, and obtained a fellowship in otology and neurotology from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
