Hall-Perrine Cancer Center celebrates cancer survivorship

The Hall-Perrine Cancer Center invites cancer survivors, caregivers, family members, friends and healthcare professionals in our community who have been touched by cancer to share in a celebration of survivorship from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 5. The event – National Cancer Survivors Day: The Strength of Hope – takes place at the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, 701 10^th St. SE, on the Mercy Medical Center campus. 

This free event will include a brief program at 1 p.m. recognizing cancer survivors. Guest speaker Stephanie Phillips will share an inspirational survivor story. The celebration will also feature music, crafts and tours of the cancer center. Survivors will receive a free tree seedling to take home, as a reminder of the strength of hope.
