Recognize the good work of the Sisters of Mercy

On the heels of National Catholic Sisters Week, we have another opportunity to recognize the good work of the Sisters of Mercy. You have the chance to cast a ballot in their support!

The Sisters of Mercy of Cedar Rapids have been selected for the Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame, a prestigious state-level honor that volunteers in Iowa can receive. Along with three other groups and individuals, the Sisters will be recognized in April at a ceremony and reception in Des Moines.

Additionally, Volunteer Iowa grants a special honor. The People's Choice Award is an opportunity for the public to determine which Hall of Fame inductee should receive extra recognition for their contributions as a volunteer.

Please join us as we show our gratitude for our local Sisters of Mercy. Cast your vote by March 31 for the Sisters to receive the People’s Choice Award.
