Mercy partners with neighboring churches for heart health awareness

Red Heart Sunday is February 16

Mercy Medical Center is partnering with some area churches for Red Heart Sunday on Feb. 16 – to bring greater awareness to the treatment and prevention of heart disease.

To mark Red Heart Sunday, Dr. Cam Campbell from Mercy Cardiology Clinic will provide a free, educational heart seminar at Oakhill Jackson Community Church, 1202 10th St. SE, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Dr. Campbell will be available for one-on-one conversations, and free blood pressure screenings will be offered for members of these partnering churches:

• Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church
• Full Grace Ministries
• Greater Word of Faith
• Gospel Tabernacle
• Living Waters Kingdom Church
• Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church
• New Life Outreach Worship Center
• Redemption Ministries

Members of the partnering church congregations are encouraged to Wear Red on February 16 in support of heart health awareness.
