Mercy announces new pediatric clinic featuring local pediatricians
Mercy Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of a new pediatric primary care practice – Mercy Pediatric Clinic – in Cedar Rapids.
Locally experienced and respected pediatric providers, Scott K. Nau, MD, FAAP; Wieslaw (Wes) Machnowski, MD, FAAP; and Rick J. Mersch, MD, FAAP, will begin seeing patients the week of Feb. 3 at the new Mercy Pediatric Clinic, temporarily located on the first floor of Mercy’s 600 Building at 600 7th Street SE.

Mercy Pediatric Clinic provides primary care for children from newborns through college. Pediatric experts specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood illnesses and disorders, including but not limited to: fever; cough; allergies; injuries and broken bones; rashes and other skin conditions; infections such as ear infections, tonsillitis and sinusitis; and respiratory conditions such as asthma, croup and flu.
Mercy’s pediatric healthcare professionals will also monitor children’s health to prevent future illnesses and track developmental progress through:
