Brad Archer, MD, named Executive Medical Director of MercyCare Community Physicians

MercyCare Community Physicians (MCCP) recently announced the addition of Brad Archer, MD, as Executive Medical Director. Prior to joining MCCP, Dr. Archer served as Chief of Staff for Iowa Health System, Iowa Methodist Hospital and Methodist West Hospital, all in Des Moines.

Dr. Archer received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Iowa-Des Moines Internal Medicine Residency Program. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Additionally, Dr. Archer has a teaching affiliation at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine as an adjunct associate clinical professor.
