Save Time with These MyChart Features
Mercy’s online patient portal, MyChart, can make managing your health a little easier. Check out these new and highly used features available for your convenience.
Mobile Notifications
If you have the MyChart app, you can opt to receive notifications on your device so you know when you have a new message, test result, statement or a payment due.
“Push Notifications” can be activated from the Account Settings option inside the MyChart Mobile App.
Text Reminders
Want a text message reminding you about upcoming appointments? Earlier this year, text reminders were made available for any clinic or scheduled hospital service. This functionality allows you to receive text alerts for appointments, test results and more. Patients can set their preferences for the reminders they would like to receive via text (email is also still available).
Text message alerts can be activated from the MyChart website from the Settings Menu under Notifications.
Advanced Directives
If you have an Advanced Directive/Living Will or Power of Attorney on file with us, these will now be available in MyChart. These are viewable from the Health Menu under Advanced Directives.
Manage Your Family’s Care
Want to manage your loved ones’ health online via MyChart? You can toggle between accounts with one login. To request proxy access, navigate to the Messaging Menu and select Request Family Access.
New Layout & User-Friendly Navigation
MyChart has a new look. The navigation has been updated to make your time in MyChart even easier. The proxy accounts are now at the top and the quick links are on the right.
