Hospice Care
If you desire to honor or memorialize a loved one or special person in your life, the opportunity exists to give a gift benefiting Mercy’s hospice services. Whether your loved one was touched by being able to stay in their own home and rest comfortably, or your family has been affected by a support group or bereavement counseling, you can direct what area your gift will impact.
Additionally, for families wanting to honor patients, staff, or volunteers who support the Hospice program, our Love Lights program is the annual center of this celebration. Mercy is grateful for your gift of any amount and donations can be designated to either of the Hospice of Mercy Fund or the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House Fund.
The below areas will help you determine which opportunity is the right fit in honoring your loved one.

Love Lights Program
The Love Lights program is in honor of our patients, families, staff, volunteers and the community that support us. Our Love Lights trees are the center of our celebration. Each single light shares a gentle glow, while together creating a shining brilliance of hope for all. We remember our loved ones, our patients and the families we serve.
Please join Hospice of Mercy for the Love Lights event each December for cocoa, cookies and the lighting of trees at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy (315 18th Avenue, Hiawatha, Iowa).
Each light will signify a gracious gift of any amount of your choice. These contributions throughout the year will allow us to continue to serve patients and their families in our community who are traveling their final journey.
Your gift has the power to shine a light in someone else's life.
