Support Persons (husbands, partners, mothers, etc.) are encouraged to attend with you. ***Class has a four-couple minimum, 10-couple maximum.

Taught by Brenda Enfield, RNC, IBCLC. A NICU nurse since 1996, Brenda also has more than 25 years of experience helping moms and babies learn to breastfeed. She is a Certified Breastfeeding Educator and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Birthplace Board-Certified Lactation Consultants are also available via phone at (319) 398-6561 from 10 a.m. to noon Monday through Saturday to answer your breastfeeding questions. If they are not available, leave a message and they will call you back within 24 hours.

Park in the parking lot immediately outside Hall-Perrine Cancer Center. Enter the building through the entrance at the north end of the building (closest to Fifth Avenue and to the right of the main entrance). Please note that parking in front of the Community Room is reserved for patients between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
