What are Talent Tuesdays?
In an effort to increase accessibility to job-seekers, Mercy Cedar Rapids offers a set time each week to walk in and have the opportunity to speak to hiring managers. Talent Tuesdays are open to all job-seekers, regardless of the type of position they seek.
Where do I go for Talent Tuesdays?
Talent Tuesdays are held in Hall-Perrine Cancer Center (HPCC) on Mercy’s main campus. HPCC is located on the northeast side of the campus across from McKinley Middle School- and is most easily accessed by parking in the HPCC parking lot off of 10th Street.
Once inside the building, staff and signage will direct attendees where to go.
Where should I park?
Free parking is available to attendees in the HPCC parking lot, which can be accessed off of 10th Street (across from McKinley Middle School). We ask that attendees follow directional signage to park on the north side of the lot and use the north entrance.
When are Talent Tuesdays held?
Talent Tuesdays are held every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your résumé or previous job history with contact information with you.
Is there a dress code?
Business casual or professional dress is encouraged.

Who will I meet with during Talent Tuesdays?
Hiring leaders, along with the Talent Acquisition Team, will be available to meet with you.
Do I need to register before I arrive?
Registration is not required, but is available.
I am interested in a position at another location that is not the main campus. Should I still come to Talent Tuesdays?
Yes! Hiring leaders from all locations will be available. If, for some reason, a manager is not able to make it in person, they will be available via video call.
Should I apply before I arrive?
We encourage you to visit our job site and review current opportunities. You can apply in advance, but it is not required.
Will I receive a same-day offer?
Our talent acquisition team will be working hard to expedite applications and offers for Talent Tuesday attendees. A more definitive timeline will be communicated before you depart.
