Sarah Dumachi, PharmD, MPH
Sarah is from Iowa City, Iowa. She completed a dual degree program, earning her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Iowa. She also received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in Interdepartmental Studies. Sarah is passionate about healthcare and public health. As a student, she enjoyed volunteering with organizations such as the National Marrow Donor Program, Johnson County Affordable Housing Coalition and local immunization clinics. Sarah has always been interested in pharmacy and is pursuing residency to expand her skills as a practitioner. Sarah’s professional interests include psychiatry, internal medicine, emergency medicine and oncology.

I am passionate about providing quality, patient-centered care, and I know Mercy Medical Center will push me to become a well-rounded practitioner so I can provide the best care to patients. Zachary Glanz, PharmD
Zach is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa after completing the PharmD program following the pre-pharmacy track. He has always been interested in pursuing residency to gain the skills and experience working as a practitioner. Zach’s professional interests include oncology, anticoagulation and internal medicine. While in school, he was highly involved with Phi Delta Chi pharmacy fraternity teaching new candidates, organizing meetings and attending national meetings. Outside of pharmacy, his hobbies include spending time with friends and family; tennis; golf; and doing puzzles.
“I chose to complete my residency at Mercy Medical Center because of all the positive interactions I had with the staff and residency team during the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and residency interviews. As soon as I walked into Mercy, I felt like I was already part of the team. I feel that the learning opportunities I will get at Mercy will allow me to gain the experience and knowledge to practice at the top of my license and become a valuable member of the healthcare team. I am excited to complete my residency here at Mercy and cannot wait to get started.”
