This was no ordinary cold. When Ric Swann got sick in November 2008, he experienced dry mouth, fatigue, weight loss, blurred vision and tingling in his feet. And he couldn’t shake it. In fact, he hadn’t felt well for quite some time so, at the urging of his coworkers, Ric went to see his family doctor for the first time in 15 years.
